About

I'm a Computer Engineer working across full-stack web, mobile, and AI systems. Most of what I ship is in TypeScript: React and React Native on the front, Node.js and NestJS on the back.

The last two years have been a steady step up. I started by building individual products, including a real-time cloud security system and a mobile app with Stripe integration. Now I lead the architecture of a content syndication platform that serves over 1,000 sites and handles reporting across millions of backlinks.

AI has become a big part of my work, both as a tool and as something I build. Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor are part of my daily workflow, and on the product side I've shipped content analysis pipelines, generation systems, and agentic workflows.

As lead, my day isn't only code. I make the architecture and technology calls and spend a fair amount of time talking with clients. I like that side of the work too.

Lead Software Engineer

Leading the build of a Digital Experience Platform and CMS for a news and editorial content syndication network. I own the technical side end to end, from the UI to the backend, and handle client conversations and project management.

  • Architecture and delivery of a platform that ingests, quality-checks, and publishes content to 1,000+ sites, with self-service provisioning and a content contribution marketplace.
  • Designed end-to-end content pipelines covering ingestion, AI-based profanity and quality checks, and multi-site publishing.
  • Built AI pipelines for content analysis, generation, and agentic workflows, automating editorial review previously done manually.
  • Built backlink reporting across millions of backlinks, giving customers visibility into syndication reach.
  • Architected the system as an Nx monorepo with TypeScript, TanStack Start, React, and NestJS, prioritizing SSR for performance and SEO.
  • Built and maintained the CI pipeline, handled production DevOps, and developed a custom WordPress plugin for downstream publisher sites.

Software Engineer

Worked across web, mobile, and backend on several client products, from initial development through delivery.

  • Built a cloud-based security access control system processing real-time events from physical controllers via a hardware SDK, plus the cloud web SPA in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Delivered a mobile app for a sports recovery spa with custom appointment scheduling, Stripe payments, and an admin panel for services, employees, customers, and payments.
  • Optimized a React Native appointment calendar component, taking per-interaction latency from nearly a second to smooth response with hundreds of events.
  • Refactored large components into smaller, simpler units using the composition pattern, significantly improving maintainability.
